Verbs
- To listen / to hear = 듣다
- To play an instrument = 악기를 연주하다 (연주하다 is the verb used for mainly string instruments)
- 치다 is used for percussion instruments and the piano
- 불다 is used for wind and brass instruments
- To sing = 노래하다 / 부르다
Adjectives
- To be loud = 크다 (this word literally means “big,” but when using it to describe sounds it means “loud.”)
- To be soft = 은은하다 / 부드럽다
